About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a background in evidence-based interventions for adults with anxiety and depression, and I believe effective therapy starts from a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness approaches, helping people to bring awareness to the present moment, reframe unhelpful thoughts, and face challenging life circumstances.

Background

I received my B.S. in Neuroscience from Brown University and worked as a clinical research coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital's Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine, where I led meditation-based groups for students, older adults, and individuals with chronic health conditions. I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Duke University, working with patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I then joined the faculty at Weill Cornell/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, focusing on interventions for treating anxiety in young adults. I am now in private practice in Brooklyn, NY.
