About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a background in evidence-based interventions for adults with anxiety and depression. I believe effective therapy starts from a collaborative and supportive relationship between therapist and patient. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness approaches, helping people to bring awareness to the present moment, reframe unhelpful thoughts, and face challenging life circumstances.

Background

I received my bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Brown University and worked at Massachusetts General Hospital's Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine, leading meditation-based groups for students, older adults, and individuals with chronic health conditions. I received my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Duke University, gaining experience delivering evidence-based treatments in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I completed my predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Weill Cornell/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, focusing on interventions for treating anxiety in young adults.
